This sweet boy is ‘Tigger’, a 6-year-old, black and tan Chihuahua. Tigger weighs all of 10-lbs. and he’s all love! Tigger’s best pal in life is ‘Minnie’, a black and tan Brindle short-haired Doxie who grew up with him and who is also available for adoption.

Tigger is a nice, quiet boy. His foster mom said it took him a little time to adjust to his new home, after six years with his original owner. But he has made a good transition now, and although he prefers not to be picked up, he is friendly and well-behaved, like his friend Minnie,

Tigger loves to ride in the car and also loves playing with rope toys. He is absolutely devoted to his BFF, Minnie, with whom he likes to play and snuggle. We are really hoping to find a family (preferably with a fenced yard) who is interested in giving both these sweet dogs a home where they can grow old together!

Tigger is in good health and is neutered, microchipped, and is current on his Rabies and DHP/Parvo vaccines. He tested negative for heartworms and is on heartworm and flea prevention.

Tigger’s adoption fee is $250.00. We are hoping to find a home for Tigger with Minnie, since they are a bonded pair. Tigger’s adoption fee will be reduced to $225.00, if they are adopted as a pair.

Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a 3-week trial period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect “forever” home!

If you are interested in Tigger think he may be your ideal canine companion, please visit our website at foreverhomek9rescue.org for information on our adoption process. Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, but we never “ship” or “transport” our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.
