Shih Tzu - Young - Female
Adoptable Small Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shots

This little cutie is Millie, a petite 6½ lb. grey and white Shih Tzu with a BIG personality! The vet estimates Millie to be approximately 2 years old. She and another little Shih Tzu (Sydney, who is also available for adoption) were found together wandering in a neighborhood, and a Good Samaritan rescued them both — so Millie and Sydney are pals.

Millie isn’t so much into playing with toys, but she LOVES to play with Sydney and the other dogs in her foster home! She is a very sweet little girl. She has a wonderful disposition, and while she doesn’t currently live with any cats or children, her foster mom is pretty sure she’d be just fine with either — providing the children are older and well-behaved, of course! We would prefer to find a home where Millie can live with her friend Syd – or possibly they could be re-homed separately, just as long as the family has another small playful dog and a fenced yard.

Millie isn’t yappy or hyper. And she loves to go for rides in the car, where she naps quietly. She is working on her house-training and is making progress. She sleeps in her foster mom’s bed at night, so although she probably had a rough start in life, she is definitely coming up in the world!

The vet has pronounced Millie to be in great health! She has been neutered, microchipped, and is current on her Rabies and DHP/Parvo vaccines. She tested negative for heartworms and is on heartworm and flea prevention.

Millie’s adoption fee is $300.00.

We would like to thank K9 Cabins for giving Millie a spa day and photo shoot to help her find her forever home. If you would like to learn more about K9 Cabins, please visit their website:

Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a 3-week trial period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family.
