Dachshund - Senior - Female
Adoptable Small Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

Meet Maggie… a beautiful 11-year-old, 13-lb., long-haired red sable Dachshund who, through no fault of her own, is needing a forever home .

Maggie is a reserved and shy lady with very good house manners. She is well house trained, and doesn’t mind being in her crate at night. Maggie walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She is a quiet girl who rarely barks, except to warn when an intruder enters the home… just like a good Dachshund should do!

A home where Maggie has human companionship during the day would make this little girl very happy. Even though she gets along with other dogs, she doesn’t interact with them and doesn’t need canine companionship.

Maggie is in good health… she has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on her Rabies, DHP/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on Heartworm prevention. Maggie also had a dental cleaning.

Maggie’s adoption fee is $250.00.

FHCR offers a 3-week trial period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect “forever” home!
