Dachshund - Senior - Female
Adoptable Small Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

Meet Lacey… a beautiful 9-lb., long-haired, chocolate and tan piebald Dachshund. This little girl is as sweet and loving as she is cute! Even though she may be a little shy at first with new people, she warms up and makes friends quickly. Lacey’s fairly quiet for a Dachshund… she will let you know when she wants to come inside, but doesn’t bark at strangers or people entering the home.

Lacey seems to be well housetrained, as her previous home had a fenced yard and a doggie door. In her foster home she is currently sleeping in a crate, but we know she’d probably prefer sleeping in ‘the big bed’ with her new guardian. Lacey enjoys going for car rides, and walks well on her leash.

A home and family where Lacey has human companionship much of the day would make this little girl very happy. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, but doesn’t really interact with them… she prefers spending time with her human companions. Lacey is a very smart little girl… she quickly mastered the steps to get up on the couch in her foster home, and the couch now seem to be her favorite resting place. No doggie beds for this little princess!

Lacey is spayed and microchipped, and is current on her Rabies and DHP/Parvo vaccines. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on Heartworm and flea prevention. Lacey also just had comprehensive bloodwork and a dental.

Lacey’s adoption fee is $250.00.

Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a 3-week trial period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect “forever” home!
