Don’t you wish carrots tasted as yummy as Cheetos? Me too! But my Foster Mom put me on something called a D-I-E-T. I’m not a fan. Well, at least not of the food.

It’s totally worth it though – I just know my handsome new look will help me catch the eye of my perfect Forever Family. Why, I would eat carrots (and even GREEN BEANS) every day if it meant I could have a home of my very own!

I get excited just thinking of all the things I will get to do with my new family – we’ll go for walks together (nothing too crazy, I’m more of a “leisurely stroll” pup than a marathoner), snuggle on the couch together (snuggling burns calories too, you know) and of COURSE, I will keep my new family safe and sound. Nothing gets by me!

Hey, we could even eat Cheetos together! Oops, maybe not – foster mom says NO. Carrots it is.

So, if you have a little room in your heart for a mature, spunky, cuddly, protective, food-loving Chihuahua, make sure you ask about ME!

This little guy was surrendered when his former owner could no longer care for him due to health problems. At 8-years young, “Chico” has very good house manners – he is both house and crate-trained. He does well with most other dogs, but would be just as happy keeping all your attention to himself!

Chico has a cataract in one eye (common for his age and breed), but his overall health is very good and improving with every pound he loses. He’s had an impressive weight-loss already, thanks to his foster family’s care, which has taken him from 21lbs to his current weight of 15.7lbs. It’s important that Chico’s forever family continue his diet and exercise plan, so he can reach his ideal healthy weight and enjoy many happy years with them.

Chico is current on his Rabies, DHP/Parvo and Bordetella vaccines. He is neutered and heartworm free.

Chico’s adoption fee is $175.00.
